Susana Moreira is Executive Director and Co-Chair of the Board of the H2Global Foundation.

She has 15 years of experience working on energy and mining issues. During her 10+ years at the World Bank she played a leading role in developing new projects in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Sub-Saharan Africa. She also led the “Climate-smart Mining” initiative, the “Kickstart Hydrogen Knowledge Series”, and spearheaded various in-depth research publications on gases-for-transition, including green hydrogen, on mining, and on sustainability. Prior to joining the World Bank, she worked as a consultant on energy, political rights in Africa and public relations. She holds a PhD in International Studies, a MA in Pacific International Affairs and a bachelor’s in International Relations.
