Justin Pitts is a Director at Blue Diamond. In 2012, Justin Pitts started Blue Diamond with brother Brad Pitts and school friend Chris Simpson. In the early years, their focus was power generation, along with a broad product mix targeting mining and construction, as they evolved, they focused more on their power generation capabilities.
In 2016, Blue Diamond was awarded the Australian exclusive distribution for Denyo from Japan, a highly regarded established brand in Australia. This helped them gain further traction into the mining and construction sectors in Australia with more tier one companies becoming regular clients.
In 2019, the strategic decision was made to leverage of what had become a leadership position in power generation to assist their customers to decarbonise providing new cleaner alternatives including Hydrogen Fuel Cell and Battery Energy storage systems into their offer.
This led to becoming the Australian distributor for 3 global leaders in the clean energy for construction space. EODev from Paris for their Hydrogen Fuel Cell power generation, Powr2 from New York for their medium sized B-ESS for their hybrid packages and AMPD Energy from Hong Kong for their larger B-ESS that they deploy to power tower cranes and package as spinning reserve for larger hybrid systems.
From 3 people in a standing start business in 2012, Blue Diamond now has 5 depots nationally and 70 staff.
Blue Diamond’s Net Zero Equipment range is now their core focus and core to what they stand for as a company.
