John is a Professional Engineer (EGBC) and Chartered Engineer (Engineers Ireland) with 20 years of experience as an engineer, manager and leader in the energy sector. He has a diverse technical background having held leadership roles in energy utility, engineering consultancy and clean and renewable energy project development organizations. John brings a unique understanding of the energy industry having worked in Ireland, the UK and Canada on major gas infrastructure and renewable energy projects. His qualifications include a Mechanical Engineer with a Masters of Engineering in Sustainable Electrical Energy Systems and various Sauder School of Business management qualifications.
