Jamie has an honours degree in Civil Engineering and has travelled the nation and the world working for a range of corporations, consultants and companies delivering complex large-scale infrastructure in the roles of Business Development, General Manager, Project Leader and Board/Committee representative for large multi party JV’s. Jamie also has extensive local and state government experience and in his younger years served as an Australian Army Officer, focusing on demolitions and dive operations, although thankfully has not had a lot of use for these skills in recent times.
Having assisted his neighbor (and founder of Wildfire) with business development advice whilst playing pool and enjoying the occasional BBQ, when the opportunity arose in 2022 to join Wildfire on a paid basis, he made the decision to jump out of his long-term, secure corporate job and joined the fledgling startup and has never looked back or regretted it since.
Jamie’s main role at Wildfire is to develop commercial relationships and project opportunities across the municipal and private sectors. He has however also been tasked with the stretch-target of global domination of the Biofuels-from-Waste sector and this is apparently progressing very well. He is here today to introduce the remarkable technology invented by Brisbane’s own Wildfire Energy and to bring you along for the journey.
