Daiva Garbaliauskaitė became the Vice-Minister for Energy of the Republic of Lithuania in December 2020.
She previously held significant roles such as a General Counsel at the Lithuanian electricity transmission system operator Litgrid, Head of Legal Department at central district heating company AB Vilniaus šilumos tinklai. Her career includes board memberships at Lithuanian energy exchange Baltpool, waste system administrating and other companies in the energy field.
Vice-Minister Daiva Garbaliauskaitė holds a Master of Laws from Vilnius University, an Executive Master of Business Management from ISM International School of Management and Norwegian Business School, and a Professional Board Member Certificate from the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance.
