Dr Neil D’Souza is a principal consultant based in our Singapore office. He heads Argus’ energy transition practice in Asia Pacific and the Middle East, having lead policy studies on the hydrogen economy, low carbon vehicles and renewables. He is also responsible for Argus’ generation fuels practice where he has provided clients in the private sector with feasibility studies and fuel procurement risk assessments and policymakers with regulatory advisories. Prior to joining Argus, Neil worked as an energy economist for an energy policy institute in Singapore and has led several consulting projects for multilateral agencies, such as Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC). He has also worked as a power plant engineer at a multifuel fired facility. Neil D’Souza holds a doctoral degree in energy economics, a masters in energy economics and policy and an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering.
