Dr. Kulkarni is the visionary CEO of Cavendish Renewable Technology, a cutting-edge startup from Melbourne pushing the boundaries of next-generation electrolyzer technologies. With 23 years at the forefront of innovation in fuel cells, electrolyzers, and hydrogen storage, he brings deep expertise and leadership to advancing clean energy technologies. Before founding Cavendish, Dr. Kulkarni drove high-impact hydrogen and ammonia projects as a Senior Technologist at CSIRO’s Energy Business Unit for over a decade. His journey includes pivotal roles as Principal for Hydrogen at Fortescue Future Industries and key technical positions at Cabot Corporation in the USA and Atlas Copco in India. Holding a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from New Mexico Tech, USA, he is a recognized innovator with numerous groundbreaking technologies, peer-reviewed publications, patents, book chapters, and invited reviews to his name. Dr. Kulkarni serves on advisory boards of leading hydrogen companies in both the USA and Australia, and collaborates closely with Monash University, RMIT University, and Fortescue Green Fleet.
