Rebecca Halliday is a proud Aboriginal woman and distinguished former Commonwealth senior executive. She co-founded GIRA Advisory, a First Nations strategic agency specialising in large infrastructure and renewable energy projects. Recently, on behalf of the First Nations Clean Energy Network, she led the Australian Renewable Energy Agency’s ‘Hydrogen Headstart’ program engaging with First Nations communities nationwide.

Rebecca is widely recognised for her expertise in managing Matters of National Environmental Significance and her extensive experience of over 20 years in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander affairs. She applies her skills as a First Nations Clean Energy – Power Maker and provides strategic advice on environmental protection, heritage, and policy development as a member of the Indigenous Advisory Committee to the Commonwealth Minister for the Environment and Water.
