Ashley has 30 years’ experience in the upstream, conventional and unconventional Energy sector, he has been with Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions (VWTS), and various acquired businesses for 16 years. For the past 3 years he has led the Energy Transition drive globally for VWTS’ energy & process solutions (EPS) business based in Melbourne; focusing on the development of gas process processing systems for both Hydrogen and post combustion CCUS. As a member of the Veolia Group, whose core business ethos is Ecological Transformation – Ashley works with Veolia businesses to support the decarbonisation of their activities, specifically Energy Recovery Facilities as well as the wider market. Ashley has driven the development of VWTS’ approach to Green Hydrogen purification, which also brings together the extensive water treatment expertise of the wider VWTS and its sister company Veolia Water Technologies (VWT) to champion Veolia’s GreenUp Strategy.

Ashley has worked the majority of his career for European multinational companies, based in Australia and Singapore; he has extensive experience in commercial strategy development and delivery, as well as business management and integration following his time with Suez and now Veolia.

Ashley holds a Bachelor’s of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
