Mr. Rachmat Kaimuddin is the Deputy Coordinating Minister of Maritime Affairs and Investments in Infrastructure and Transportation. In his role, he leads coordination in the infrastructure and transportation initiatives of the government with a variety of stakeholders. Other projects also span from energy transition, to foreign investment opportunities into Indonesia, and digitization projects.
In his 20 years of experience, Mr. Kaimuddin has taken senior executive roles in a range of industries, such as private equity, aviation services, cement producers, and banking services. Most recently, as Chief Executive Officer, he led the fundraising for Indonesia’s very own e-commerce Bukalapak through the largest IPO in the country to date.
Mr. Kaimuddin received his BSc in Electrical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and MBA from Stanford University.
